SUMMARY OF 8WCSCM PUBLICATION

The abstract to be submitted online using the Conference portal will be included in the Conference Book of Abstracts. Upon review and acceptance of the extended abstract, the authors will then submit extended abstracts (min. 3 and max 8 pages) as their full submissions for publication as Springer Proceedings papers within the Book series as International Conference Proceedings Series: the 8th World Conference on Structural Control and Monitoring (8WCSCM). The extended abstracts will be made available to the following indexing services: Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science, Scopus, EI Engineering Index (Compendex and Inspec databases), Google Scholar, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt MATH. To accelerate the reviewing process, referees will be invited from those who will attend the conference, session organizers, Association members.
The Springer Conference Proceedings papers will be published soon after 8WCSCM.

GUIDELINES OF PAPER AND PRESENTATION SUBMISSIONS

(Abstract) The abstract submission deadline is extended to March 21 (Mon) due to many requests by session organizers and participants. You can submit your abstracts in your user home page at https://www.8wcscm.org/login after signup. Please note that it is our conference tradition to accept one paper per presenting author.

(Full submission and publication) For those whose abstract has been accepted, please start your full submission. Our full submission is an 3-8 page extended abstract. Accepted full submission will be published as a Springer Proceedings paper (https://www.springer.com/us) and indexed at Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science, Scopus, EI Engineering Index (Compendex and Inspec databases), Google Scholar, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt MATH. Full submission deadline is May 2nd
The Springer full-length paper templates can be downloaded here for Latex or Word.

(In-Person & Virtual presentation) As a hybrid conference, we ask all participants to upload max 15-min pre-recorded presentations to the website by May 27 (Fri). Live presentations will not be accepted to minimize technical problems. During the session, your pre-recorded presentation will be played, and you can answer questions from audiences synchronously at the end of your presentation. You can submit a video file in your user page at https://www.8wcscm.org/login. Please see the "Guidelines for Recording and Uploading Your Presentation” attached in previous emails. In video uploading, you are required to sign the “8WCSCM Speaker Release and Consent Form”.
